JOB TITLE: Lighting Quotations Specialist
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Lighting Quotations Specialist will manage project bids from beginning to end. They will be
responsible for working with the outside sales team to develop pricing strategies when bidding lighting
projects. They will be responsible for pricing implementation, generating competitive analyses and
strengthening overall product margin, as well as support day-to-day operations of the Quotations
department. This position is also responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and
external customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as
well as team members within the Customer Service Department.
JOB DUTIES:
 Draft, compile, and price an accurate bill of material for lighting projects
 Read and analyze blue print drawings, fixture schedules, and specifications to properly put
together an accurate lighting package quote
 Accurately cross and bid existing lighting packages
 Work with manufacturers to formulate and determine competitive analysis of current pricing
trends in the market
 Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and suggest
appropriate solutions
 Backup Customer Service department with phone calls and email support as needed.
 Define project scope and outcome that support Archer’s business goals in collaboration with the
outside sales team
 Effectively communicate project expectations to our customers and team members
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of the Lighting Industry, 2-3 years of experience in customer service, sales and/or pricing &
quotations job management. Ability to categorize & prioritize job requests, good with Excel, strong
analytical and problem solving skills, and sense of urgency and team focus. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while setting priorities, strong organizational skills, with excellent written and verbal
communication skills. Have flexibility and desire to take on additional responsibilities, ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines. Energetic, proactive and willing to learn and
grow with the company
