Dear Center for, The Christian Record Annual Day of Giving is here!
How will you help people who are blind or visually impaired? Your words of kindness and inclusiveness to a
person with vision impairment is the first step in
helping activate them for ministry in the church.
Your financial gifts help fund Christian Record's
annual budget, which supplies reading resources,
services, and National Camps for the Blind winter and
summer camps.
Thank you for your gifts to Christian Record. Please share
this special Day of Giving edition with your family and
friends.

Annual Day of Giving April 13
Here's the scene: Fred
sits down at a bus stop
bench a few minutes
ahead of time and opens
his book to read. A
moment later, he
hears the rustling of
another person next to
him on the bench.
"Hi, my name is Fred, and It's time to engage blind people
in ministry.
you are...?" Fred says.
There is no reply. Fred, a
visually impaired person, realizes his seatmate has vanished. Little scenes like this play out every day: in our churches, along our
streets, in our malls.... Some blind people feel they are unwanted.
April 13 is a day of giving emphasis for Christian Record. A special
website, www.CRSBgift.org, has been established, where
visitors can learn more about the video unwanted? and also
see the award-winning video you can help them if you care.
Please share these videos and decide to make a change. Be a
part of the movement to help people who are visually
impaired feel wanted.

May 16 is Give to Lincoln Day
Blind adults and children in Lincoln,
Nebraska, need a big piece of the pie! You can help give it to them on May
16.
The third Thursday of May 2013
is Give to Lincoln Day. On May 16,
Christian Record Services for the Blind
will be eligible for a piece of the
$200,000 challenge match offered to
nonprofits located in Lincoln, Nebraska. What's important
about this day is that funds donated only on May 16 help
CRSB qualify for a portion of the challenge grant. Thanks to
website technology, donors need not be located in Lincoln. They can be anywhere in the world. #25160
Gifts will focus on serving the 80 active clients in Lancaster
County (Lincoln's home county), thus freeing up funds for
other needs as we serve blind individuals in the United States
