Script To help with structures: Contestants, before we begin, listen carefully as I explain the rules: During the round of competition, you will approach the microphone to answer the math fact presented on the screen. If the math fact is answered correctly and within the time period, you will continue participating in the round. If the math fact is answered incorrectly or not answered within the allotted time, you will be eliminated from the competition. You will not be able to self-correct an answer during your allotted time. The time for each round will begin as soon as the first math fact is shown on the screen. If you are eliminated you will be guided to the waiting room until the Math Bee ends. The table below shows the skills and specifications for the District Math Bee by grade-level. (Ex. The competition will consist of several rounds in which each student will be given a designated time to respond.
