Tundra OpenHPC™ - Penguin Computing

Tundra OpenHPC™
World’s densest x86
Supercomputer built for OCP
Penguin Computing’s OpenHPC
architecture for OCP provides up
to 90x HPC Compute Servers in
a single rack and close to 108x
theoretical maximum server
sleds per Open Rack. Built with
OCP specifications in mind, the
OpenHPC provides customers
with a powerful and compact
HPC server designed to reduce
infrastructure costs when
moving to the next generation
of technology. The server shelf
measures 1 OU (1.889”)in height,
while each of the three sleds
measuring 173 mm (6.81”) wide.
HPC users will appreciate that
the OpenHPC is capable of RAM
speeds up to 49.38TB DDR3
1600MHz per rack, along with
breakthrough performances of
4320 Threads (2160 Cores) and
41.472 Teraflops. The unit itself is
powered by three independent
power zones, with each zone
supplying 12 kilowatts (with N+1
redundancy) of power.
