1, BACKGROUND
The Bulgarian Ministry of Environment and Water, European Commission and the LIFE
external Monitoring teams held an annual kick off meeting at the premises of Hotel Anel in
Sofia to introduce the basic administrative, technical and financial requirements of project
implementation. The meeting allows each beneficiary to make a short presentation of their
project, and also to ask questions directly to the EC officers and members of the external
team.
