Directors implement the purposes of the Criminal Justice Act of 1964, operate and administer defender
assistance offices to provide assistance to the indigent in Federal Tribal Courts and provide educational
programs for law students.

Margo Hill served as a leader in an important community building project on the Spokane Indian reservation
over three days in January & April, and wrote an article about the results in the Rawhide Press, monthly
newspaper of Spokane Tribe of Indians.

Reservation, California. Volunteered for Kauffman and Associates to serve as judge for national native artist
and writing competition.
