Sanction
Points will be counted towards the 2017 NB Cup Series
and Canadian Points List (CPL). The Maritime Cup Races
are sanctioned by CCC and require racing licenses.
However, day licenses will be available online on Zone4
during registration for those who do not have racing
licenses.

Eligibility
Participants must be a member of a registered club with Cross Country Canada. Competitors from
outside Canada must be member of a club of their country of residence or origin. Skiers must
agree to the online registration waiver prepared by Cross Country Canada. For those under 18
years of age the waiver must be completed by a parent or guardian.

Only registrations done thru www.zone4.ca will be accepted.
Deadline for registration is Friday January 20 at 5h30pm. No
morning.

Race fees and license fees are as followed and must be paid during the online registration
(www.zone4.ca ) and are non-refundable:

January 21race
28$ CAD for (Senior, open, Masters et Para-Nordic adult) (Tax included) (light refreshments)
25$ CAD for (Atom to junior, Para-Nordic) (Tax included) (light refreshments)
January 22 race
32$ CAD for (Senior, open, Masters et Para-Nordic adult) (Tax included) (meal included)
25$ CAD for (Atom to junior, Para-Nordic) (Tax included) (meal included)
Lunch will be served after the race on Sunday January 22.
As it is a Cross Country Canada sanctioned race there is a fee of $ 5.00 per race for a day license
fee. Cross Country Canada license holder will not need to pay the daily license fee. There are no
daily license fees for categories Midgets and below.
Race Course
Participant will be able to view the race course at the competition site the day of the race.

Results and Start list will be posted on the following web site www.zone4.ca
Bib Draw
For the January 21 skate race there will be a draw for the starting order for each category using
Zone 4. For the Mass start of January 22 the order of departure will be chosen in order of finish
from the January 21 race. If there are new participants on January 22 they will be place behind.

Participants must pay a 60$ CAD fee for bibs that are not returned.
Awards
Medal will be given to the Top 3 of every category for both genders. Also ribbons will be given for
4 th position, 5th position & 6th position for Mini- Atom, Atom, Pee Wee, Mini-Midget & Midget
categories (boys & girl).
Awards will be presented after the race on Saturday January 21 and after lunch
Sunday January 22.
Cancellation
Any Change in the event location or timing will be posted as early as it is known on the
WOSTAWEA.CA & CCNB websites and circulated by e-mail.
Waxing Room
Waxing area will be available in the basement of the Killarney Rotary Lodge.
First Aid
First Aid will be available on site.
