St. Augustine holiday lights
We have decorated The Royal Floridian Resorts for the season's
festivities and have many fun games and crafts (on-site) to put you in
a festive mood. You can create beautiful and unique holiday bags,
personalized ornaments, holiday jewelry and more. All provide great
gift ideas that allow for your own personal touch and artistry.
We also have masses of great off-site events taking place over the
holidays. Here are 4 events worth considering:

Winter Holiday At Ponce Inlet Lighthouse Dec 27, 2013 10
a.m. to 2 p.m. Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, 4931 S. Peninsula
Drive, Ponce Inlet
Visit the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse on this day and
enjoy a day filled with family-oriented activities. Explore our
historical exhibits and climb the tallest lighthouse in Florida.
Journey back 100 years ago, when the keepers and their
families lived at the lighthouse. As part of our celebration of
Spanish Heritage, the museum offers exhibits in English and
Spanish. Visitors to the Lighthouse during the Family Fun
Days will have the opportunity to participate in family-oriented

activities that have been designed to highlight our rich

New Year's Eve Celebration Dec. 31st from 6:00 p.m.-2:00
a.m. Ring in the New Year with our Main Street Merchants
New Year's Eve Festival. There will be food, games, fireworks
and fun for the whole family. No admission needed.

Resort Updates
Royal Floridian Resort recently received
Gold Crown Designation from Resort
Condominiums International (RCI).
We are happy to have achieved this standard and look forward to
continuing to provide excellent vacations to all of our Owners and
Guests.
We are very excited to report that both Royal Floridian Resorts have
moved forward and contracted with Brighthouse Networks to install a
new wireless system in both buildings. This system will offer
technical support 24/7 - 365 days a year and will provide excellent
Wi-Fi services to several devices in each unit. The new system is
expected to be installed and in full use by mid-January 2014.
During this year's Maintenance week 4 two bedroom units that are
located street side will be converted to ADA complaint rooms. The
kitchen will be equipped with the latest ADA complaint appliances
and all counter and cabinet requirements will be met per ADA
standards. The bathrooms will be equipped with roll in showers and
required features. In addition there will be modification around the
common areas to facilitate ADA requirements. Should you need an
ADA compliant unit in the future please be sure to notify your
reservation agent upon booking.
The outdoor pool recently received two new replacement 406 BTU
Raypack Pool Heaters to maintain a pleasant Pool temperature
during the fall season. The pool will be kept a warm 86° F for the fall
and spring seasons as many owners and guests enjoy swimming
during the sunny days of these seasons. The main lobby also
received a new replacement 10 ton heat and air conditioning system.
31 Royal Floridian units will also receive significant updates during
the annual maintenance week, starting December 7th. Improvements
will include all living rooms receiving 42" Phillips flat screen HDLCD
TVs and all bedrooms will receive a 32" Phillips flat screen HDLCD
TV. Other noted improvements will be the addition of new sofa beds,
arm chairs, end tables, coffee tables, valances, artwork, kitchen
counter tops, flat-top stoves and a new wall color in the master
bedrooms. There will also be additional improvements made to

lighting and the overall condition of these rooms. Carpet has also
been replaced in the bedrooms over the past 2 months.
The 51 units that were refurbished in 2012 will receive new valances
this maintenance week to help complement the recent refurbishment.
Reservation Reminder
Reservations / Vacation Planning Services encourages all owners to
provide plenty of lead time when booking or banking usage.
We also encourage owners to utilize your Owner Bonus Time
privileges and contact the Resort for short getaways to Branson.
Bonus Time reservations can be made 30-days or less from arrival.

For every five (5) referrals you submit, you‘ll receive one (1) ballot
and be entered to have your Association Fee paid.
