2013-2014 Payroll Options for New Teachers

In order to help make your transition into the Tiger Family easier, you have three payroll options to choose from during
your first year of employment. You must make a selection and return to the Human Resources Office no later than
August 1, 2013; otherwise you will recieve the standard payment schedule.

Standard Teacher Pay Schedule Pay starts in September and is spread over 12 months.

• Please note that the options above are only available to you in your first year of employment as a professional educator with TISD. Regardless
of the option chosen, your second and subsequent years will be paid on the standard 12 month schedule.
• Paychecks are issued on the 25th of each month; except during the first month of employment, August checks would be issued on August 30th.

OPTION 2: 13-Month Pay Schedule
I choose for my annual salary for the 2013-2014 school year to be paid over 13 months. I understand that I will
receive my first paycheck on August 30, 2013.

OPTION 3: $1000 Salary Advance Pay Schedule
I choose to receive $1000.00 of my salary on August 30, 2013 and the remainder spread over 12 months beginning,
September 25, 2013. I understand that I will receive my first full paycheck on September 25,2013.
