Total Penny #4 Revenue Expected Less: 15% for financing costs/misc Net Proceeds Available for Projects 40,000,000 (6,000,000) 34,000,000 • Staff recommends committing 85% of this revenue to projects and allowing 15% for financing costs, immediate needs that arise over the next decade, and to absorb any revenue shortfalls. 19 Penny IV: Project Prioritization This meeting is the BEGINNING of a conversation about how to best use this valuable funding resource. • Not constrained by list staff has developed. • Not enough revenue for everything we currently have on list. • City Commission and Staff are seeking public input on how to best use Penny funding.
