Texas High School Sandra Austin, M.L.S., LIbrarian March 2008 Women’s History Month March is Women’s History Month, a time set aside to recognize the accomplishments of women throughout history and in every culture. Women have infiltrated the ranks of practically every professional field. Some of which include the following: Medicine, Business, Education, Sports, Law, Engineering, Aviation, Music, Religion, and more. Not only have women inserted their skills into these fields, they also held/hold high-ranking, leadership positions in their chosen areas of expertise. Dr. Meena Patel and Mr. Vinod Doolabh donated this item to Texas High School Library. It was received at our library on January 18, 2008. African–American Life in Bowie County, Texas through 1965 is a booklet authored by Dr. Beverly Rowe. Texarkana Museums System donated two copies of this work to Texas High School Library on February 20, 2008.
