Save the Date November 14 Children’s Literacy “Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader” This fall event’s focus is to it get more books into our children’s hands and in their homes. Reading is one of the most important things for building a child’s future. Because we are one of the poorest counties in Indiana, many families do not have the means to provide these necessary tools for their children. There are many benefits to reading, such as mental stimulation, stress reduction, knowledge, vocabulary expansion, memory improvement, stronger analytical thinking skills, improved focus and concentration, better writing skills, tranquility, and free entertainment. All of these benefits can shape our children into better students and better people. 2015 Fall Event Tablescape 6:00 pm Don’t Saturday, November 14, 2015 @ 6:00pm Parke County Fairgrounds Tablescapes: Favorite Children’s Book/ $500 per table 100% of table sponsorships go directly into the Children’s Literacy Fund and will receive a $0.50 match Be Late!
