Arab Games 2011
Appointed as official Logistics provider for Freight Forwarding & Warehousing.
The 12th edition of the Arab Games takes place in Doha from December 9-23,
2011. This marks the first edition to be held in a Gulf State. It featured the
participation of 22 nations of Arab countries, 7,000 athletes and competitions in
35 sports. The event is spread across 20 venues.
Asian cup 2011
Appointed as official Logistics provider for Venue Management, Warehouse &
Distribution, Custom Clearance, Baggage Handling and Project Management.
IAAF World Indoor Championships
The 2011 AFC Asian Cup was held in Qatar on 7-29 January 2011. It was the
fifteenth time the tournament has been held, and the second time it has been
hosted by Qatar.
Appointed as Official Logistics Provider.
The 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships in athletics was held between 12 and
14 March at the ASPIRE Dome in Doha, Qatar. The championships was the first of
six IAAF World Athletics Series events to take place in 2010.Three days event
involving multiple tasking logistically required key focus at all times on venue
management.
Middle East - Dubai Autodrome
Appointed as the Official Contractor for site handling for Dubai Autodrome 24
Hour Race and for the Bahrain International circuit’s ‘Audi Event 2006 ’ to promote
the Chevrolet Lumina CSV ( Chevrolet Special Vehicle) Championship. Project
Partnership with Agility Logistics.
Provided trailers and awnings for special displays at the Seef Mall and International Circuit in Bahrain and the autodrome in Dubai. The championship runs in
Qatar, Bahrain and Dubai as a Support race to many of the top attractions at
those circuits, including the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix.
15th Asian Games
Appointed as official Logistics Provider for Critical Shipment for David Atkins
Enterprises. Project Partnership with Agility Logistics.
The 15th Asian Games, officially known as the XV Asiad, is Asias Olympic-style
sporting event that was held in Doha, Qatar from December 1 to December 15,
2006.
Doha was the first city in its region and only the second in West Asia (following
Tehran in 1974) to host the games. There were 46 disciplines from 39 events
scheduled to be contested . Time and crisis management in logistics proved to
the success of the event. Over 800 tons moved and managed in specific timelines
for a grand opening of the event.
Beijing 2008 - Summer Olympics
Appointed as the Contractor of village linen logistics and village logistics consultancy
for Beijing 2008. Project Partnership with Agility Logistics.
The 2008 Summer Olympics. Officially known as the games of the XXXIX Olympiad,
were a major international multi-sport event that took place in Beijing, China, from
August 8 to August 24, 2008. A total of 11, 028 athletes from 204 National Olympic
Committees (NOCs) competed in 28 sports and 302 events ( a total of one event
more than the schedule of the 2004 Games)
F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2009
Appointed as the sole official customs clearing and site handling agent for F1 Abu
Dhabi Grand Prix 2009. Project Partnership with Agility Logistics.
The event was held 30 Oct - 1 Nov at Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Athens 2004 - Summer Olympics
Appointed as Official Logistics Provider for Olympics Villages & Lodgements for the
Athens 2004 Games. Project Partnership with Agility Logistics.
2004 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXVII Olympiad,
was a premier international multi-sport event held in Athens, Greece from August 13
to August 29, 2004 with the motto Welcome Home.10,625 athletes competed, some
600 more than expected, accompanied by 5,501 team officials from 201 countries.
There were 301 medal events in 28 different sports.
Shanghai- Jackie Chan Charity Cup
Appointed as the destination handler for the Jackie Chan Charity Cup at Shanghai
International Circuit. Project Partnership with Agility Logistics.
Shanghai office has handled the Philip Morris, Tag Heuer and Smartphone/Vodafone
F1 road shows and the Honda GP Bikes feature at the 2006 MotoGP championship
race.
