It is easy to download a book or audio. If you don’t have Overdrive downloaded to your device, you will need to do so. Go to the library’s website at westbranchlibrary.org and hover over Books & Resources. You will see a drop down menu for e-books and e-audio books. Just follow the direc(ons on the web site. A)er you have a book or audio book downloaded, you can read or listen to your story anywhere, even without internet access! Going away for the winter? Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. Human trafficking is not a choice. A person cannot consent to become enslaved. Vic(ms want to escape, but can’t. Millions of men, women, and children are forced into labor situa(ons and into the sex trade world. Vic(ms can be any age, race, gender, or na(onality. It is es(mated that there are 27 million people in slavery today. Michigan is #5 in the na(on for human trafficking. It occurs not only in large ci(es, but in small communi(es.
