Thanksgiving Baskets
Our Lady of Peace Parish’s office of Social Ministry is once again preparing Thanksgiving food baskets for our neighbors in need.
They have received information about 175 families needing assistance in our region and plan to provide over 800 people with a
delicious Thanksgiving meal through this basket program. Mrs. Milligan has requested our help as has been our tradition. Each class
is assigned certain items to bring in for the baskets to compliment the turkeys Social Ministry has purchased. Please help us to
make this event a success and provide a nice holiday meal for folks who won’t have one otherwise. We do not need cranberries this
year, as cases have been donated. Please focus on the items listed below. Thank you! Items are due by tomorrow.
Pre K & Kindergarten – Red Beans (kidney)
Grade 1 – Rice
Grades 2 & 6 – Gravy
Grade 3 – Apple sauce
Grades 4 & 7 – Stuffing Mix
Grades 5 & 8 – Canned vegetables: green beans, carrots, corn
