Dear Parents, This years theme for Camp Truth is "Submerged”. We would like to encourage your children to “submerge” themselves in the word of God! Our main goal will be to instill as many scriptures into the minds of the campers as we possibly can, scriptures that will keep them on the right path. This will be a fun filled week in which we have scavenger hunts, hikes, memory verse challenges, boating, archery, bonfires, and so much more. . Throughout the week we will be awarding points for best craft, biggest fish, most verses memorized, best participation, etc... IMPORTANT!!! Please use a permanent marker and write your child's name on every article of clothing, every undergarment, bible, shoes, towel/wash cloths, etc... If you do not do this, your child will come home with missing stuff. LOST AND FOUND: There will be a table in the gym foyer at the camp where you will pick your child up on Friday morning. Please check this table for any missing items before leaving camp. Once camp is over, all leftover articles will be disposed of promptly. NOTE: On Friday morning, we will have an award ceremony that will start at 9am. This will usually only take about 30 minutes to complete. PICK YOUR CHILD UP NO LATER THAN 10:00am FRIDAY MORNING. Any store money leftover at the end of the camp week will go towards scholarships to pay for children whose parents could not afford camp. It is our prayer and desire that your child will be forever changed for the better through Camp Truth. The experiences throughout the week will all be designed to grow your child in Christ. Thank you for trusting us, and you have our commitment that their safety and security are among our greatest concerns. Should you have any concerns throughout the camp week, you can contact Dale Prather at 706-523-1141. We will have a parent meeting prior to camp to answer any questions or concerns you may have. During this meeting, we will go over the schedule of events in detail. In the meanwhile, if you have any questions, please contact one of us immediately, or you can contact the church office at 706-884-3100.
