SENIOR YEAR ACTIVITY CALENDAR
September / October / November

September 28 - College Fair with Senior Class Fundraiser at BCS (contact: Jay Sefton, Joel Guthrie or Pete
Luessenhop)

Fall / Winter of senior year: Senior pictures taken. Parents locate photographer of their choice. Students can
use the photo from Lifetouch taken at BCS on September 8, although most do not. (contact: Marge Mead)

September/October – Herff Jones rep gives presentation of graduation items that can be ordered by
Seniors/Parents. About one week after presentation Herff Jones rep returns to BCS to take graduation orders
(deposit required). Only item required to order is the student’s cap & gown (gown is rented – must be returned
after graduation/cap and tassel are theirs to keep). Cost goes up considerably for late orders. (contact: Marge

December / January / February

By January 31: submit senior picture, baby picture, and senior quote to yearbook advisor All photographs must
be in school dress code; these photos will be used for the graduation day presentation. (contact: Jessica
Clayton)

February 13 (tentative date): Valentine's Fundraiser (contact: Jay Sefton, Joel Guthrie or Pete Luessenhop)

By March 1: Yearbook Senior Ad (optional): submit completed senior advertisement wording (150 words or less),
photos (up to two photos), and payment to yearbook advisor. (contact: Jessica Clayton)
March / April / May

April - Senior Trip (Date and location TBD) (contact: Jay Sefton)

April – Jog-a-Thon Food Parent Meeting (contact Paul Suvar)

April 23 – Jr-Sr Banquet

Graduation invitation orders and caps and gowns are delivered in the spring. (contact: Marge Mead)

May 4 Jogathon Food Fundraiser (contact: Paul Suvar)

Last Day of School – Graduation Rehearsal at 2:15-3:15 pm (contact: Jeff Kowatch)
June 5 – Graduation Program at BCS Worship Center beginning at 6:00 pm (contact: Mark Harmon)
