Vintage Tinge
Tradition marries romance in this sweetly charming
tablescape by Sweet Beginnings. An assemblage of old
and new vases, julep cups and glassware rest atop cornflower raw silk linen and hold baby’s breath, antique
pink and cream roses, fringed tulips and hydrangea.
A hand-embroidered table runner and matching
napkins complement the antique silver flatware, clear
Victorian motif charger plates and pink depression-era
wine glasses. Butter yellow enamel napkin holders add
a final flourish.
The old wedding day adage still rings true.

Sky’s the Limit
An outdoors-inspired palette of
heavenly blue, tangerine and fresh
green creates a playful, informal mood.
David Yanchuk of PartyArt Decor &
Design laid a table of light blue shantung silk runners and modern square
china with fresh viburnum, parrot and
La Rem tulips. The tall, curly willow
centrepiece flaunts cheeky white apple
blossoms and hanging teardrop vases,
each holding a single parrot tulip.
A miniature wedding cake of blue
fondant graces each place setting and
is topped with a handmade, tangerine
sugar peonie and green leaf name tag.
Chiavari chairs are embellished with
handmade tulle rosettes and draping
silk ribbons.
