Paintballing for Eight
Imagine crashing through the undergrowth, dodging
paintballs, hiding behind buses or helicopters and spying
on your enemies. This is a real chance to shake off your
day-to-day responsibilities and rekindle a spirit of adventure.
On arrival you will be kitted out with full body armour, head
protection and the latest USA-spec rapid-fire semi-automatic
machinegun. You will begin your experience with a briefing
from the friendly DF marshalling staff, prior to selecting the
game zone of your choice. There are six zones in all and you
can play as many or as few as you like. Paintballs are not
included but you can buy as many as you like on the day
and hot drinks are on tap throughout. You will finish your
day with a debrief and awards presentation.
Availability
Events run every weekend and occasionally on weekdays.
Participant Guidelines
Minimum age 10. Paintballing is physically demanding and
paintballs can bruise you if you get hit.
Duration
If you choose to stay for the full day then please expect to
be at the venue for approximately seven hours, beginning
at 9am and ending at around 4pm. Please arrive 10
minutes early to ensure a prompt start. Lunch will be at
around 1.30pm.

Spectators
Spectators are welcome but must remain in the safety
zone at all times. Viewing of the actual experience will be
limited. Bring a camera as there will be some great shots
to be taken in the safety area.
Dress Code
Wear old clothes (ideally layers or thick, padded clothing)
and trainers or walking boots. Full body armour and face
masks are provided.

Segway Rally
The Segway is a new marvel of technology that is self
balancing, keeping you upright and in complete control
at all times. Made to feel as simple as walking, it offers a
feeling akin to hovering above the ground, making this an
entirely novel and totally thrilling mode of getting around.
Start with a full instruction and safety briefing, then get to
grips with the Segway controls. Set off on a natural track
through wooded and open surroundings to put what you
have learned into Segway racing practise. With overtaking
sections en route there is plenty of opportunity to let your
competitive streak loose! Your experience concludes with a
certificate presentation. So go ahead and try the transport
of the future, now!
Availability
Available throughout the year at each of the five venues,
a minimum of once a month, a maximum of four times a
month (depending on venue chosen).
Participant Guidelines
Minimum age 12 and those taking part under the age
of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Minimum weight is 45kg (7 stone) and maximum weight is
117kg (18.5 stone). Safety dictates that pregnant woman
cannot participate.
Spectators
There is a small waiting area for spectators and they can
watch the riders from a number of trackside areas.
Dress Code
Dress appropriately for this outdoor activity and be aware
that you may get muddy. All safety equipment (full body
protection and a helmet) will be supplied by the venue. We
recommend you wear flat, sturdy covered shoes or trainers
and gloves.

The experience will last for approximately an hour,
including your briefing and Segway driving time.
