HOW TO PAINT
TERRACOTTA POTS:
1. Select two New Look Sample Pots
from the Palm Springs palette such
as Show Girl or Honey Swirl.
2. Make sure your terracotta pot is
clean and dry.
3. Apply the paint using your brush to
the outside of the pot, and go one
quarter of the way down into the
inside of the pot (be sure not to
go too far down as the paint could
inhibit the growth of the plant if the
roots come into contact with it).
4. Allow min. 8 hours drying time
before planting.

LAYING OFF
Clean surfaces with sugar soap before
painting and patch up any cracks with
filler. Sand until smooth. Use low tack
masking tape to cover trimmings, etc.
Paint around the edges of your walls with
a 63mm cutting in brush, using interior low
sheen for living rooms and bedrooms or a
satin paint for bathrooms and wet areas.
Roll out the paint for the main walls with
a roller. Start at one side and paint a series
of Ms to spread the paint. Then go over
the area with vertical strokes.
Once one section is completed, use
a dry roller to ‘lay off’ the paint. Start at
the top and roll down to the bottom.
Lift the roller off the wall and repeat
top to bottom for a perfect finish.
