Toyota Hybrid System Coverage

1. Includes all used vehicles registered New Zealand new or imported from Japan and Australia. Imported vehicles from other countries
not eligible.
2. Vehicles over 3,500kg gross weight not eligible.
3. Vehicles imported as ‘statutory write-off’ or ‘accident damaged’ in country of origin not eligible.
4. Excludes all other marque of vehicle that retails new for >$200,000, or travelling >40,000km/year; or used for business purposes.
5. Vehicles built by European manufacturers regardless of location.
6. High Performance vehicles are categorised as vehicles with a Power to Tare Mass Ratio (PMR) greater than 130kW/tonne.
7. Includes other vehicle marques not already included under the European & High Performance warranty.
8. Hybrid and Plug In Hybrid Electric Vehicles by all non-Toyota marques are not covered.
9. Excludes vehicles which are eligible for the Toyota Care Business High Use Warranty.
10. Includes; but not limited to vehicles used for – taxi, uber, rental, courier, security and other vehicles owned by a GST registered business
and travelling >40,000km/year.
11. Claiming is conditional on complete service/maintenance history being supplied by the owner at time of claim, having been completed
at an Authorised Toyota Dealership or Service Agent.
12. Vehicles odometer at commencement of warranty period, determines excess on Toyota vehicles.
13. Unlimited kilometres within the warranty time period.
14. Warranty is valid for 50,000km/12 months, whichever occurs first from commencement odometer and date, up to maximum of
200,000km/48 months.
15. All monetary amounts shown are maximums and include GST.
16. Non-Toyota vehicles older than 15 years of age are not eligible.

Toyota Hybrid Batteries Warranty on
Hybrid vehicles first registered in New
Zealand includes the transfer of the balance
of the New Vehicle Hybrid Warranty up to
160,000kms/8 years8 where applicable.
Toyota Care Warranties extend the cover
on the Hybrid Battery for the duration of
the Used Vehicle Warranty on NZ new and
imported Toyota vehicles.
Toyota Genuine Parts Toyota Genuine Parts
are used by Toyota Dealers for all warranty
repairs. Toyota Genuine Parts have been
designed specifically for your Toyota and
are manufactured and tested to the highest
standards by Toyota.
Toyota Quality Service Toyota warranty
repairs are carried out by Toyota trained
technicians who have immediate access to
the latest service repair information and
advanced diagnostic equipment.
Fully Transferable Toyota warranties are
fully transferable to the next owner. Toyota
used vehicle warranties purchased (in
addition to standard New and Signature
Class warranties) are refundable providing
no claims have ever been paid.
AA Roadservice & Breakdown Benefits
Platinum and Toyota used vehicle warranties
include 24 hour AA Roadservice, which
includes callouts for flat tyres, battery,
lockout, fuel and towing to the nearest
Toyota Dealer. Additional vehicle towing and
accommodation/rental vehicle allowances
are also included.
