Working with educators, we have spent much time around creating our 2016-2017 FDSH Goals and a 4-Year Plan called our “20/20 Vision”. The use of our district mission statement, district vision statement, district core beliefs, FDSH student achievement data and our end of the year surveys from FDSH students and FDSH staff have been the driving force behind this work. Identifying what and how we will measure these goals has been a process that we should be able to complete in the next week that will guide our work as a building. In addition, many conversations are being held about competency-based education (CBE), Dodger Time, Cooperative Teaching, Common Assessments, Positive Behavior Support Systems, facility upgrades, and changing negative perceptions. Been a great month of setting the stage for some exciting things down the road. Together We Rise: Raising the Bar, Closing the Gap, Believing Kids Do Well if They Can!
