Promoters of a day on the green hav e added a new show to their concert roster under the
banner of Rolling Green.
As part of their Australian tour, The Black Keys will headline the f irst ev ents of its kind with
Spiderbait, Band Of Skulls and Bad//Dreems in support.
Perf ormances will be at Rolling Green Rochf ord W ines, Yarra Valley VIC on Sunday 5 April
and Rolling Green Bimbadgen W inery Hunter Valley NSW on Saturday 11 April.
Like a day on the green, R olling Green will happen in the well-established winery v enues;
with three to f our artist s……i t’s like the younger brother to the original v ersion!
Roundhouse Entertainment promoter Michael Newton said: “a day on the green has f ound
its place but there is no reason younger audiences should not see bands they want to see in
the beautif ul environments that hav e made a day on the green such an established ev ent f or
an older crowd. The Black Keys is the perf ect band to launch Rolling Green.”
THE BLACK KEYS return to Australia as part of the Turn Blue W orld Tour and of f the back
of their successf ul 8 t h f ull-length album Turn Blue, which debuted on both the Billboard 200
and ARIA Chart s at Number 1 and is the band’s highest charting album to date
internationally. The album debuted in Top 5 and Top 10 chart s worldwide with the f irst
single “Fev er” sitting at the top of radio lists. Their latest single “Gotta Get Away” can
currently be heard on the airwav es.
The album was produced by Danger Mouse and The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach and Patrick
Carney. Turn Blue f ollows the critically and commercially acclaimed album El Camino which
is now certif ied double platinum in Australia. El Camino spawned the huge hits “Lonely Boy”
and “Gold On The Ceiling” and also saw the band take home three Grammy Awards f or Best
Rock Perf ormance, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Album.
