Alex Muggridge
At 23 years young and having difficulty findng work over the past
few years, Alex was referred to ISAustralia Job Central’s Certificate II
in Civil Construction training course by his Job Active Provider.
During the course enrolment process, Alex bravely let us know that
he had suffered with mental health concerns since school and this
allowed ISAustralia Job Central to better understand Alex’s needs
and provide the support he needed to complete the course.
Within three months Alex gained employment and believes his experience with ISAustralia
Job Central gave him the skills and confidence to launch into the workforce and achieve a
work/life balance.
Congratulations Alex. The Team at ISAustralia Job Central is proud of Alex and his
achievements and wishes him all the best for the future.

Joel Eden
Having lost his long-term emplopyment to redundancy, Joel saw an
advertisement in one of the local papers for an ISAustralia Job Central
Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure training course and
approached his Job Active Provider to get him enrolled. Near the end of his
training, Joel attended one of ISAustralia Job Central’s Industry Days and
met a number of representatives from a wide range of industries. Through
ISAustralia Job Central’s employment support, Joel distributed his resume
and just three weeks later secured full-time employment.
Joel said “ISAustralia Job Central went above and beyond what I expected and I know that
without them (ISAustralia Job Central) I would not have got this job”.
With his wife due to have their baby soon, the financial security of employment is a great
relief to Joel and his family.
Congratulations Joel. The Team at ISAustralia Job Central is proud of Joel and his
achievements and wishes him all the best for the future.
Kaylene Walker
Having been working in the high-pressure Banking and Finance industry for
seven years, Kaylene decided it was time for a change. After completing
the ISAustralia Job Central Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure
training course, that afternoon Kaylene bravely approached the site
supervisor on a building site and asked for an opportunity for work.
The following Monday morning, Kaylene was in the site office to complete
the paperwork, have an interview and by lunchtime had secured
employment.
“If it wasn’t for the advice of the ISAustralia Job Central staff helping me to choose the right
pathway I would not have secured my job so quickly after finishing my course. I cannot
thank them enough for their help, support and encouragement"
Congratulations Kaylene. The Team at ISAustralia Job Central is proud of Kaylene and her
achievements and wishes her all the best for the future.

Rakesh Prasad
Rakesh came to Australia in September of 2015 from Fiji seeking a better life
for himself and his family. Rakesh has always been a hard worker and
although having been employed by the Fiji Government for 30 years, he
found that it difficult to find employment in Australia because his
skills/experience were not recognised here.
Not to be deterred, Rakesh signed up for the ISAustralia Job Central
Certificate II in Civil Construction training course and during the enrolment process found he
had a slight language barrier; particularly in understanding some Australian terminology with
the written assessments. ISAustralia Job Central offered and provided Language, Literacy
and Numeracy support to Rakesh throughout his training course.
With ISAustralia Job Central’s employment support, Rakesh secured fulltime employment
and says that without the encouragement and employer/recruiter connections offered by
ISAustralia Job Central, Rakesh believes he would not have secured his new job.
Rakesh has only one unit of competency to complete his training course. ISAustralia Job
Central is working with Rakesh to ensure he completes his final unit and gain his Certificate
whilst maintaining his work commitments.
Congratulations Rakesh. The Team at ISAustralia Job Central is proud of Rakesh and his
achievements and looks forward to seeing him in the near future to complete his Certificate
training course.
