What You’ll Need

How to Make It
1
Have each crafter take a blank card and write
a heartfelt message on it to their best friend.
Then invite crafters to decorate the card with
the markers or crayons.
2 Help each crafter add two holes with the hole
punch to each side of the card. Set the card aside.
4 Assist crafters with threading each exposed end
of the pipe stem through the holes and bending
it down to secure it to the card. Repeat with the
second bracelet.
5 Now crafters can give one of the bracelets to a
friend they’re wild about!
3 Invite crafters to select two pipe stems and an
assortment of beads. Instruct them to string the
beads onto each pipe stem—creating a colorful,
one-of-a-kind bracelet. Have them leave ½" of the
pipe stems exposed on each side.

Door Hanger

• Tacky Glue - 4 Ounces (TG170)

How to Make It
NOTE: To make it easier for crafters to use the tacky glue, try pouring small amounts into collage bowls (or paper bowls).
Then, provide crafters with paintbrushes for spreading the glue onto their craft.
1 Assist crafters with cutting a paper plate in half.
2 Instruct crafters to turn the plate pieces facedown
and color each half to resemble a watermelon or
any other melon they like.
3 Direct crafters to turn one half of the plate upright
and add glue along the outer rim. Make sure
crafters do not add glue to the cut edge of the plate.

Instruct crafters to align the second half of the plate
on top of the first, gluing it in place. If necessary,
add craft tape to help secure the edges together.

Assist crafters with adding one hole with the hole
punch to each corner of the plate.
6 Have crafters thread a yarn lace through both holes.
Then help them knot each end of the lace, securing
it to the plate.

How to Make It
1 Invite crafters to select a mirror, a polka dot accent
and a jumbo craft stick.

2 Instruct crafters to tape the jumbo craft stick to the
back of the polka dot accent, and then glue the
mirror to the front of it. Set the polka dot accent
aside.
Assist crafters with using the hole punch to add a hole
6 to one of the corners of the polka dot accent. Then
thread all 3 of the yarn laces through the hole and
knot them in place.
3 Assist crafters with using the hole punch to add
three colorful dot accents.
7 Now children can look in the mirror and identify their
emotions!

Help crafters thread a yarn lace through each
colorful dot accent and knot the laces to secure
them in place.
Invite crafters to draw a face showing a different
emotion on each of the three dot accents. For
example: happy, sad and mad.

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS:

How to Make It
NOTE: To make it easier for crafters to use the tacky glue, try pouring small amounts into collage bowls (or paper bowls).
Then, provide crafters with paintbrushes for spreading the glue onto their craft.

Assist crafters with cutting out the center of the
plate and adding 11 holes along its inner rim.
Then add one additional hole at the outer rim of
the plate.
2 Invite crafters to color the paper plate any way they
like. Then thread a pipe stem through the hole in
the outer rim and twist the ends together to create a
loop for hanging.
3 Direct crafters to take a yarn lace and thread it
through three holes, forming a triangle. Then assist
crafters with tying the yarn into a knot, leaving one
end of the lace hanging below the dream catcher.
Repeat with three more laces. Note that one lace will
not hang below the dream catcher. Both of its ends
can be knotted to the plate.
4 Invite crafters to thread the three loose yarn ends
with beads and knot a feather to each end.
5 Now this colorful dream catcher is ready to catch
summer dreams!
