Dear Friends of A Sporting Chance:
A Sporting Chance (ASC) will be hosting a Super Bowl Fundraiser. You are receiving this
information in hopes that you might be interested in helping ASC raise funds.
It takes 4 people to make a team. You can get just one team or you can get several teams. You
can pay $25 each and bowl and have fun or you can raise any amount of money you can and
receive great prizes for raising funds (See Attachment).
The event is taking place at Enterprise Lanes on Saturday, February 4, 2017 (Super Bowl
Saturday) beginning at 12:00. We will be bowling 3 games and prizes will be awarded to the
winning teams and Individuals achievements as well.
(Bingo Board Game)
The other way you can support A Sporting Chance is again playing the Bingo Board Game.
The game goes like this. We will have 1 Big Poster Board that will have 10 letters (FOR THE
KIDS) at the top and 10 numbers (1-10) down the side meaning there will 100 slots on the
Board. You choose your slot/s by paying $5 and then writing your name in a letter/number
combo and then we will draw ping pong balls with letters/numbers written on the balls. We will
have a $5 Board with 10 ($100 Gift Cards) as Prizes. Please see attachment for information
about the Bingo Board and the prizes you could win.
Deadline to Enter
We want to get 40 teams for this event. The deadline to enter is January 27, 2017. You can
either mail your entry form in or you can FAX (864-4307) your entry form in. Any and all money
raised is due by the date of the event.
Please help us out by getting a team together. It will be fun and you will be supporting over
2,300 Individuals with disabilities, youth who are disadvantaged, abused & neglected children
and "At Risk" teenagers.

Bowling Fundraiser
PURPOSE:
To raise money for "A Sporting Chance" so that we can continue to provide quality athletic
training, recreation & competition to athletes in Southwest Missouri. To reach out and
provide these opportunities to all Individuals regardless of their disability, youth who are
disadvantaged, abused & neglected children & “At Risk” teenagers.
WHO:
This fund-raiser is open to businesses, family, friends, volunteers, civic organizations,
and sports enthusiasts; ANYONE who is interested in helping our cause. There will be 4
Person Team Bowling only.

WHEN: Saturday, February 4, 2017
1. Form a team of (4) people and find sponsors to support your team. Enter as an
individual and we will add you and other individuals to a team.
2. Complete the registration form and mail back to the A Sporting Chance Office by
January 27, 2017.
3. Find sponsors who will pledge money as a flat donation. Have them complete their
name, address, phone number and amount of money they plan to donate on the
enclosed form.
4. Bring the pledge sheet and all money raised to the Enterprise Lanes on the day of the
event.
5. Bowl and let's have a great time.
ENTRY FEES: The entry fee is a minimum of $25 per bowler ($100 per 4 Person Team)
and must be turned in on the day of competition, or you may turn it in with the entry
form.
PLEDGES:
Each bowler should find sponsors, friends, family members, etc. who will pledge money
for them to bowl. Each bowler is responsible for obtaining at least $25 in pledges,
donations or paying out of their own pocket. You must raise at least $100 in order to
qualify for any top fundraising prizes.
Prizes will be given away for:
1) Highest Team Bowling (Scratch Bowling - All 3 Games)
2) Highest Individual Bowler of the day (Scratch - All 3 Games) (M & F)

4) Highest Single Game of the Day by Male and Female Bowler
RULES/PRIZES FOR
A Sporting Chance
Bowling Fundraiser
1). There will be 1 type of competition for this tournament. All teams will bowl 3 games
of Scratch Bowling.
2). If you wish to challenge another team and we will put you on a pair of side by side
lanes and may the best team win. Example: Midnight Rodeo challenges
Electric Cowboy. These businesses then find 4 customers, or workers, or vendors,
that like to bowl and the bowling challenge is on. Or, say O'Reilly Auto challenges
Auto Zone, the challenges are endless.
3). There will be a minimum fee of $100 per team or $25 per individual to bowl.
4). Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers. (Each Person Must Raise at Least
$100 to qualify for these prizes).
5). Each Individual must bowl 3 games. (Their cumulative score will determine the total
score).
6). Bowling will take place on Saturday, February 4, 2017. The time will be 12:00
p.m. for all groups.
7). Each captain should fill out an entry form with the names, addresses, and phone
number of each member of the team. Please designate the name of your team on
the entry from.
8). One person should know how to keep score for team Bowling. This person should
make sure the score is being kept correctly and report any discrepancies to the
tournament director.
9). All money raised must be turned in the day of the tournament. Money turned in late
will not be counted toward the prizes.
10). Prizes: ($50 Price Cutter Gift Cards) will be awarded to each bowler for:
A). Highest Series by a Team (1st Place only) (3 game series)
B). Highest Game of the Day by Any Bowler (Male and Female)
C). Highest Series of the Day by Any Bowler (Male and Female)
11). Competition committee will be responsible for making decisions on rules.
