Carbon Dioxide
Carbon dioxide CO2 is a gas that occurs naturally in Earth’s atmosphere where it
is concentrated at 0.039% by volume. As an example, if you had a volume of 1
litre of the air around you then 0.039% of it will be CO2. It is composed of two
oxygen atoms bonded to one single carbon atom as shown below.
