Vocabulary Unit Review 1-3 All exercises are due on
Friday, October 16 and Test is Tuesday, October 20.
Directions:
 P. 42 and 43 Before you read and annotate p. 43, skim the
questions and the answers. This is a test taking strategy: by
reading over the questions before reading the selection, you can
slow your reading down when you get to the answer embedded in
the selection.
 You probably think I am as “mad as a March Hare”! What type of

communication. Hence, please add this to your list of Quarter 1
Nefcas.
 Denotation and connotation Review: words have shades of

 Our software watches over your fine possession.
 Our software vigilantly protects your fine possessions.
 Our software spies on your fine possessions.
