The Capital Area Food Bank’s Fill the Bowl Challenge
is a competition designed to mobilize individuals and their
colleagues to end hunger in the Washington metro area.
Farmhouse-style enamelware bowls, custom-designed for Capital Area Food Bank
Sold for $25 each to targeted companies and their employee bases
Challenge kicks off September 1 for Hunger Action Month; ends October 16 on
World Food Day with a goal to reach 100,000 meals for neighbors in need
Bowls arrive in early November with tips to hold an office party to celebrate your
impact on hunger in the region

Help your company strengthen our movement:
From September 1 to October 16, compete to be the company that purchases
the most bowls in support of the Capital Area Food Bank’s work in
the District, Maryland and Virginia.
Each bowl purchased provides 62 meals for children, seniors and families
who struggle to get the food they need.
Top companies will win a special party package at the office to celebrate
your impact.
