Cheung Cheuk Nam (2E) Book Title: Robin Hood The Silver Arrow and the Slaves Author: Lynda Edwards Publisher: Scholastic I am going to talk about a book called ‘Robin Hood The Silver Arrow and the Slaves’. It was written by Lynda Edwards. The publisher of this book is Scholastic. This story is an adventure. Robin Hood and his friend lived in Sherwood Forest. They helped the poor people by fighting against the dangerous and terrible rules, Sheriff and also his attendant, Gisborine. When Sheriff bought slaves to work in his mine, Robin and his friends decided to stop him. They had some clever plans and the slaves were also fighting against Sheriff. They cheated the broker and fought against Sheriff. At last, Robin and his friends helped the slaves to escape. But at the same time, Marian (she was loved by Robin and she also loved him) was also in danger. Luckily, in the end, Robin could save Marian and helped Rowan to take revenge by winning Gisborine in the archery competition. After reading this book, I think Robin Hood is very kind, clever and brave. He fights against the unfair rules and helps the poor people in Nottingham. He doesn’t just think about himself, he also gives a helping hand to others. We must give a helping hand to someone who is in need. When we help others, we will be very happy. Always try to help others!
