Day 1—Arrive in Lima, Peru
Afternoon: Arrive at your luxury hotel Country Club Lima Hotel.
Evening: Enjoy free time by unwinding at the hotel’s Yaku Spa or exploring the vibrant city. You have time on your own to discover a wide variety of
fine restaurants for dinner, experience the nightlife, or simply relax at your hotel.

Day 2—Iquitos, Peru to embark Aria Amazon
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then be transferred to the Lima airport for your flight to Iquitos.
Afternoon: Aqua Expedition guides will escort you on a scenic drive through the Peruvian countryside to the small village of Nauta. Here, the Aria
Amazon, your luxurious riverboat and home-away-from-home for the next four evenings, awaits. Settle into your suite with its floor-to-ceiling
window as you set out to explore the mighty Amazon. Enjoy lunch and explore the vessel.
Evening: Enjoy a lavish Welcome Dinner of Amazonian-influenced cuisine, featuring the freshest local fish, fruits, and spices. Aboard Aria Amazon,
Executive Chef, Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, whose restaurant Malabar ranks among Lima’s best, will add a taste of culinary adventure to your journey.

Day 3—Marañon River: Choroyacu, San Pedro de Tipishca, and Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve
Morning: After breakfast, step aboard skiffs and set off into the vast, flooded forests on a nature excursion. Guides will tell you about the rainforest
ecosystem and lead you through a “gallery forest” so named for the tunnel of leaves the narrow vegetation create. Look out for parrots, macaws, and
fluffy monk saki monkeys in the trees and along the banks.
Afternoon: Set foot on dry land for a Jungle Walk and Village Visit. With your guides as interpreters, make your way through the jungle to a village of
native Amazonian people. There, learn how they cultivate wild plants and trees with subsistence farming and hear about the fruit trees and medicinal
plants that comprise their natural pharmacy.
Evening: Return to Aria Amazon to relax and prepare for dinner as you follow the river to your next adventure.

Day 4—Tacsha River: Pacaya Samira National Reserve and San Martin De Tipishca
Morning: After breakfast, join your guides for trek into the jungle to learn about sustainable resource management projects. Discover wildlife and
the breathtaking canopy of the kapok trees, the tallest trees in the Amazon Basin. Then head back to Aria Amazon for lunch and a little leisure time.
Afternoon: Take the skiffs out on a Monkey and Dolphin expedition where you’re likely to encounter the Amazon’s two fresh water dolphins—gray
and pink. In the jungle canopy, your guides will point out Pacaya-Samiria’s 13 species of monkeys, including tamarins, howlers, dusky titi, and pigmy
marmosets. Keep binoculars handy as you’re likely to see more than 200 species of birds, plus caimans, tree boas, tarantulas, and frogs.
Evening: Return to Aria Amazon for dinner, relaxation and recall the day’s adventure.

Day 5—Yanayaquillo, Tahuayo, and Charo Lake
Morning: As the sun rises, board the skiffs and head into the jungle as the morning light awakens the wildlife, such as toucans, macaws, parrots,
monkeys, and some “surprise” species. Enjoy a luxury on-the-go breakfast in the jungle; it’s a popular spot for dolphins, so you probably won’t be
eating alone. Explore the jungle then return to Aria Amazon for lunch as you sail down river.
Afternoon: Midafternoon, embark on the skiffs to Charo Lake for a fishing trip unlike any you’ve experienced. You’ll visit a fishing “hot spot” where
it’s assured you’ll catch a variety of tropical fish from the more than 3,000 species that live in the Amazon Basin.
Evening: Return to Aria Amazon for dinner and relaxation as you journey down river through the night back to Iquitos.

Day 6—Depart Iquitos and Fly to Buenos Aires, Argentina
Morning: Enjoy your final breakfast on board Aria Amazon, say, “Goodbye” to the Amazon as you’re transferred to the airport for your flight to
Buenos Aires.
Afternoon: Arrive in Buenos Aires where you’ll enjoy the rest of your day at your own pace. Take a stroll along Puerto Madero, where you can grab
lunch at a quaint, waterfront café. Relax in your luxury hotel, enjoy a spa treatment, and then continue exploring this dynamic city.
Evening: Dinner is on your own, so take the opportunity to discover one of the many delicious restaurants in the city, then catch a taste of the
excitingly diverse nightlife.

Day 7—Buenos Aires, Argentina
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then embark on a half-day, city tour, where you’ll discover “The Paris of South America.” Drive down one of
the widest boulevards in the world—9 de Julio. Stop at the Plaza de Mayo that’s bordered by the Casa Rosada, the Metropolitan Cathedral containing
the Mausoleum of San Martin. Pass the Caminito, an incredible street museum, in colorful La Boca. Drive through the Recoleta Quarter with its
exclusive shops and restaurants. And, no visit to Buenos Aires is complete without a stop at the aristocratic Recoleta Cemetery—the resting place
of Evita Peron.
Afternoon: After your tour, return to your hotel and unwind.
Evening: Before you explore on your own, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel.

Day 8—Board Celebrity Infinity
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, before being transferred to the cruise port to board Celebrity Infinity® for your Antarctic Cruise.
