The great thing about the Bewust Pensioen (Smart Pension)
is that it allows you to offer both freedom and security to
your staff. Thanks to our Bewust Pensioen you can devote
up to half of your contribution to guaranteed retirement
savings, while the remainder is invested.
Balancing freedom and security
Freedom or security?
No two employees are alike, and some are prepared to take a little more risk
so as to increase their returns. Through Bewust Pensioen your staff are able to
partly determine their pension build-up themselves, with the employee deciding
which portion to invest and which to save. This means that Bewust Pensioen
allows every employee to have a tailored pension.
A pension based on choice
Bewust Pensioen allows you, the employer, to decide which portion of the
employee’s defined contribution is devoted to guaranteed retirement savings,
ranging from 0% to 50%. This is what is known as the employer’s guarantee.
The remaining part of the contribution is invested on behalf of your employees.
Should they want greater security, then they can use our Pension Click, an
option that allows the member to wholly or partly ‘lock in’ the accrued invested
sum as well as the sum invested in the future. At the moment that retirement
takes place, the monthly pension payments will then be: the guaranteed
pension from the employer’s guarantee, the guaranteed pension from the
Pension Click and/or the pension acquired at retirement age from the
remaining sum accrued.
