2. Essay OR Video Choices:
Credit unions all around the world are eager to reach young people to educate them about the benefits of
credit union membership. Please explain what you think a credit union is and how credit unions could
better educate you about the benefits of membership as well as ways to reach a younger audience.
The credit union philosophy is “People Helping People.” Please describe how a credit union can help you
or your family reach their financial goals.
*Essay must be 500 words or less. Video must be 5 minutes or less.
Be creative - There is no set template for a winning essay!
3. Include a current transcript and a list of your community and/or school related activities and two
letters of recommendation.
I certify that I understand the eligibility requirements and that the information submitted is true to the
best of my knowledge. Any scholarship that does not meet the requirements will be eliminated so please
make sure you send everything in!
