PURPOSE:
Primary Sanitizer
WHEN TO USE:
It can be used as a primary or a shock
dosing product. It is a very concentrated
& powerful sanitizer leaving little residue
and no odour.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Mix in bucket to dissolve (pref overnight).
Make sure 80% water to 20% Lithium,
pour into spa
COMMENTS:
Remember when dissolving oxidizing
agents such as Lithium it is important
to have more water than product,
the other way around makes product
unstable & can be a fire hazard.

USAGE IN:
Spas, Hot Tubs and Heated Pools
PURPOSE:
Main sanitizer to control bacterial growth
WHEN TO USE:
Constantly if primary sanitizer
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Place tablets in a float or dispenser
COMMENTS:
Bromine is designed to not release
chlorine gases when water is heated.
To aid for bather comfort opposed
to liquid or dry chlorine.

USAGE IN:

PURPOSE:
To eliminate foaming
WHEN TO USE:
When foaming occurs
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Squeeze straight from bottle into
affected area
COMMENTS:
ANTI FOAM IS USEFUL to stop spas from
over foaming due to some chemicals such
as algaecides & small levels of body fats.
When body fat levels become too high water
must be changed as fat won’t break down,
usually change around 1/3 of spa water.

Cationic Polymer
USAGE IN:
Spas & Hot Tubs
PURPOSE:
For the removal of suspended particles
and the creation of crystal clear spa water
WHEN TO USE:
Murky cloudy water
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Dilute in a bucket of water. Backwash
filter, or hose cartridge. Broadcast over
surface of spa.
COMMENTS:
This product is used to clear cloudy
water. IT IS ADVISED to clean filter &
shock. Before adding clarifier run filter for
24 hours or until clear depending on filter
size & efficiency – no swimming until clear.

A shock treating agent which will

WHEN TO USE:
1. When filling spa or adding water.

workout from impurities like fats
& bacterial contamination
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Mix in water, add directly to spa with
filter running – do not bathe for 1 hour

Sodium Bicarbonate
USAGE IN:
Spas & hot tubs
PURPOSE:
To increase pH & total alkalinity for
swimmer comfort & chemical balancing.
WHEN TO USE:
When pH & alkalinity is low
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Dissolve in water & add gently through
suction line.
COMMENTS:
It is important that pH increaser
be added slowly to spa or pool to
avoid plating of spa or pool water.
Plating is rare but can possibly
occur if pH is shocked dramatically
up or down, this is when metals in
the water can turn from liquid into
solid form causing staining.

USAGE IN:
Spas, hot tubs
PURPOSE:
To decrease pH, swimmer
comfort & chemical balancing.
WHEN TO USE:
When pH is high
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Dissolve in a bucket of water. Broadcast
directly into deepest end of spa where
water flow returns to help disperse.

USAGE IN:

PURPOSE:
A non chlorine based shock agent.
It oxidizes in the water allowing
water to sparkle.
WHEN TO USE:
After spa has heavy use.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Add direct to water with filter running
(no bathing for 1 hour)
COMMENTS:
A great way to shock water without over
chlorinating. Also useful for people who
are sensitive to chlorine as this product
is pH neutral & compatible with Nature 2.

USAGE IN:

PURPOSE:
For the prevention of Bacteria in Spa
Baths. Keeps all pipework and pump
parts clean.
WHEN TO USE:
Weekly in small Bathroom Spa Baths.
In Spas and Hot Tubs, use Spa Magic
Spa Bath and Pipe System Cleaner every
time you replace your water, which
is recommended every 3 months.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Fill spa to a level above the jets (or
after spa has just been used to save
refilling just for the purpose of cleaning).
Add Spa Magic Spa Bath and Pipe
System Cleaner, run jets for three to
five minutes and empty as normal.

Protect and Clear is stable at high
