Edition 38 23rd November 2015 A prayer for our students making their First Reconciliation this Wednesday Faithful God, open the hearts of your young children and enable them to see your wisdom. May they see in others the gifts with which you have bestowed on them. Fill them with your spirit, so that the words they speak, the choices they make and the decisions they take may be according to your will. With firm hope and joyful confidence we make this prayer through Jesus the Christ who lives forever. Amen First Reconciliation The Sacrament of Penance, First Reconciliation, will be celebrated this Wednesday afternoon 25th November in Mary Help of Christians Church commencing at 4.00pm. We pray for the children as they receive God’s love and mercy in this special Sacrament for the first time. May God bless all those who have prepared the children of our Parish for this sacrament of healing. Secondly, he taught the children how water gets to our houses such as pipes, tanks, gutters and drains. Thirdly, he answered the children’s questions and after that he said the children were very clever about water wise. Fourthly, he asked the children some tricky water wise questions.
