Meet Debra Paschke
Debra Paschke is a Security Auditor for the California Department of Technology who joined ISACA’s Sacramento Chapter in November 2014. Debra started her career in security management
as a Security Engineer with Computer Associates where she completed software installations and
conversions at customer sites. She joined the State of California in 2002 as a Security Analyst and
moved up the ranks to become a Manager over the Security Vulnerability Unit. Debra has been in
security management for over 20 years. Debra has joined ISACA recently to validate her knowledge and experience in her field. When Debra is not attending to the state’s information security
needs, she likes to read, create crafts, and walk her 4-pound Maltese Shitzu, Charlie.
Meet Greg Howard
Greg Howard joined the Sacramento Chapter of ISACA in December 2014. He is a California native who moved to Reno, Nevada 10 years ago to operate a thin film deposition company. Greg
currently operates a small managed services provider, HTRC Group http://www.htrcgroup.com/,
which offers IT services on an outsourced basis. He joined the Sacramento Chapter to work towards an ISACA certification and to use its resources to further his understanding of network security. In his free time, Greg is a wine enthusiast who enjoys making Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet
Sauvignon. He uses grapes from the Lodi area and ferments them in large barrels in his garage.

Chapter Leaders meet with members of the ISACA International Board
Board members from the Sacramento chapter had a rare opportunity this past Fall to meet members of the ISACA International Board.
The International Board held its meeting in Santa Clara which is the home of the Silicon Valley chapter. This led to an opportunity for
the Northern California chapters leaders to have dinner with the International Board. Board members from the San Francisco and
Silicon Valley chapters attended as well. The attendees from Sacramento were able to discuss many topics with leaders from the San
Francisco and Silicon Valley chapters and members of the board from ISACA International.
