Potato Baker in Microwave Oven
1. Buy ¼ yard of quilted material from the 40” wide x 9” material.
2. Cut in half giving 2 pieces 9” x 20” approx. Zigzag narrow hem on ends.

3. Fold ends to center. Zigzag side seams (top and bottom).

4. Turn to right sides – seams on inside.
¼ yard of quilted material makes 2 bakers.

Directions for Use Baked Potato Bag
This simple bag creates a just right baked potato in the microwave. The inside of the potato is well done, yet moist,
while the skin remains tender. The bag will bake one to four medium sized potatoes at once.
Simply wash and dry the potatoes. DO NOT prick the skin!! Wrap each potato in a paper towel and place in the bag.
Microwave as instructed by your manufacturer – usually 8 to 15 minutes. Put the opening of the bag face down in the
microwave.
When serving, do not cut with a knife – just use a fork, the potatoes will be fluffy.
Let the bag air dry.
P.S. This also works for sweet potatoes.
