lire ptevention officials, architects, engineers, buildeq trcdes people, loborers dnd others in the
construction industry-who work year-round to ensure the sofe construction of buildings, ond;
Whereos, these guordions-dedicdted members of the lnternotionol Code Council-use o
governmentol consensus prccess thot brings together locol, stdte dnd federal officiols with expertise
in the built environment to creote ond implement the highest-quolity codes to protect Americdns in
the buildings where we live, ledn, work, worship, play, and;
