 Find the sum, difference, product, and quotient.
Operations with functions: f(x)= x+1 g(x)= 6x
Sum
(f+g)(x) =f(x) + g(x)
(x+1)+6x=7x+1
Difference
(f-g)(x) =f(x) - g(x)
(x+1)-6x=-5x+1
Product
(f•g)(x) =f(x) • g(x)
(x+1)6x=6x2+6x
Quotient

g(x)=5x+1
Find (f+g)(x): ( x2-2x+1)+(5x+1)= x2+3x+2
Find (f-g)(x): ( x2-2x+1)-(5x+1)= ( x2-2x+1)+(-5x-1)= x2-7x
