The Gratiot-Isabella Technical Education Center (GI-TEC), Mt. Pleasant
Campus, in partnership with My104.3, is proud to recognize our outstanding
Career Technical students through the
program.
CTE instructors nominate their students based on seven criteria:
responsibility,
trustworthiness, exceptional character, good citizenship, initiative and leadership in the classroom,
commendable work ethic, and commitment to improve the technical skills needed to succeed in
their CTE program.
The selection committee at My104.3 chooses recipients and repeats the announcement on air
throughout the month. They also provide winners with several gift cards and a beautiful commemorative
plaque--all courtesy of area businesses.
Our March 2016 recipient was nominated by his Digital Media/Web
Productions instructor, Pat Onstott, for his accomplishments in that program
and for his work throughout the District………
