OPERATION
• Read, understand and observe the safety precautions on the
cylinder neck label and the warning label on the side of the
cylinder.
• Keep cylinder caps in place whenever cylinders are moved or
stored.
• Always store cylinders in a well ventilated area and in an
upright secured position so they can not be tipped or pushed
over.
• Transport cylinders only in a well ventilated vehicle.
• Always use a regulator designed for balloon filling operations.
Contact your supplier if questions arise or if more information
is needed.
• Check all connections for leaks before filling balloons. DO NOT
USE LEAKY EQUIPMENT.
• Close the cylinder valve after each use and when cylinder is
empty.
• Do not breathe helium from a cylinder or balloon.
• Do not leave cylinder unattended.
• Never place cylinders where they could come in contact with
an electrical circuit.
• Do not store cylinders in direct sunlight or near sources of
radiant heat.
• Never use cylinders as rollers.
• Never allow cylinders to drop or strike together violently.
• Do not allow anyone to breathe helium from cylinders or from
filled balloons.
• Do not allow children or any unauthorized people to handle
cylinders or use balloon filling equipment.
Ø Helium filled balloons last approximately 12 hours.
Ø Hi-float treatment will make them last approximately one
week, which may be purchased at our location.
Ø No refunds on helium remaining in returned tanks.
Helium acts as a simple asphyxiant displacing oxygen. If the
body is deprived of oxygen, even for a very short period of time,
DEATH or serious injury may occur. Exposure to atmospheres
containing reduced oxygen (increased helium) will bring about
unconsciousness without warning – so quickly, that you will not
be able to help yourself. DO NOT UNDER ANYCIRCUMSTANCES
ATTEMPT TO INHALE HELIUM. THE RESULTING LACK OF
OXYGEN MAY LEAD TO DEATH. THIS MAY HAPPEN TO YOU IF
YOU INHALE HELIUM.
NOTE: This product is for balloon service only.Do not use for welding
applications or any other industrial use.
