The unique feature w ith our inverte r syste ms compared to the rest in the market is with
Optimize r technology, MPPT tracking is for per Solar module and is not affected with the
modules with ideal conditio ns and which of those with partial shading. But with others,
MPPT is taken place for the lowest string value.

** PID is the most effective performance de gradation in Solar PV Systems.
Potential induced degradation is a physical phenomenon reducing the modules power
by reducing its fill factor and its output voltage
This will re sult a pe rfo rmance de gradatio n of more than 30% with age
The PID Effect is the strongest on modules closest to the inverter’s negative pole
If PID is suspecte d, technicians are required to climb on the roof, disconnect the
modules, and measure their output voltage
All string ty pe inverte r (even SMA) systems suffe r from this PID effect, which cause s more
than 30% of performance de gradation with time. Those technologies re quire se parate

The following images are from some of the JLanka’s system installations in Sri Lanka, where
the actual energy pro duction of the sy stem is higher than the expected value . So, we can
strongly confirm the promised per form ance of the JLanka Solar System.
The images capture d from SolarEdge monitoring portal contains 100% real data which
might be affected fro m loss of grid and bad weather conditions. Due to both of those
reasons, the energy production of the JLanka Solar PV Syste m might have been even
higher.
This data is gathere d from installations which are even 3 years aged (Eg: CRN 1277). So it
can be highlighted that, even a 3 year old JLanka Solar PV Syste m performs better than it
guaranties at the first day.
