The Downtown Council meets on the first and third Friday of each month at Currents Bistro on the 2nd
floor of the Aetna building 841 Prudential Drive (Click for directions) on the south bank downtown. Pull
into second driveway, get ticket from attendant, and drive into parking garage. Ticket will be validated for
free parking at the Council Registration Table. Cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
**NOTE - due to rising costs, prices will raise slightly next year.**
Registration and networking at 7:30. Buffet breakfast from 7:40-8:00. We accept checks, cash,
MasterCard, Visa & American Express.

Ticket Prices begin at $40($10 discount)
This is the greatest deal going for that night. Tailgating at Billy's for a discount
and Jags tickets of your choice at reduced prices. Help us lift the black-out for
this nationally televised event.
The Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce is supporting the "Touchdown
Jacksonville - Revive the Pride" initiative to assist the Jacksonville Jaguars in
filling the stadium for the Jaguars vs. Colts game at Jacksonville Municipal
Stadium on Thursday, December 17, kick-off 8:20pm. We want the stadium to be
full for this Nationally televised event. Tickets should be purchased through the
Downtown Council.

bring family, friends, colleagues, clients or your employees.

TAILGATING INSTRUCTIONS ----IMPORTANT---The Downtown Council is subsidizing the tailgating giving you a $10 discount. Be sure and tell
the parking attendant at Billy's Place that you are with the Downtown Council and they will charge
you $25 (normally $35). The Council will pick up the difference.

It's Chamber Annual Meeting time again.
It will be held once again at the Florida Theatre, Thursday, January 14th, from 6-9:30pm. This is
the biggest networking night of the year, with hundreds of Chamber leaders and members
enjoying food, libations, a silent auction and a great show, including celebrating the new 2010
Small Business Leader of the Year.
Individual tickets are $45 before December 30th, and then $55 up to January 11th, the purchase
deadline. The Downtown Council will purchase a row or two of seats at the Florida Theater so
our council members can sit together and cheer for Jimmy Johns to win. There will be a
discounted cost for tickets if you are sitting in our row. So if you are interested, commit now!
There will be NO exceptions to the deadline, so don't depend on us having 'extra seats available'.

Win a $50 Gift CardAll for attending Downtown Council meetings. A new council attendance recognition program for
Downtown Council members. Each time a member signs in a meeting his or her name will be
entered for a drawing for a $50 gift card. The Drawing will be held quarterly. So if you attend each
meeting in the quarter you will have 6 chances in the drawing.The October - December drawing
will be held in January and you must be present to win. Remember to join us for every meeting
and you MUST SIGN IN to be eligible.

ITALIAN FUSION, An evening at the Symphony. March 12 2010, Enjoy a night of Old World Italy
with Paganini's Violin Concerto No. 1 featuring Stephanice Jeong who captured the highest
award at the 2008 Paganini Competition. Fabio Mechetti and the Jacksonville Symphony also
featuring Rossini and Puccini and Respighi. A Downtown Enhancement Committee of the
Downtown Council sponsored event.
