Unity Red Cross Swimming Lessons Monday-­‐Thursday, June 13-­‐23, 2016 *Pre-­‐level 1 & Infant classes ~ 1 week, June 13-­‐16, $30 *Levels 1 and higher ~ 2 weeks, June 13-­‐23, $35 American Red Cross Learn-­‐to-­‐Swim classes provide instruction to help swimmers of all ages and abilities develop their swimming and water safety skills. They are designed to give students a positive learning experience while teaching aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression. Red Cross Certified Instructors: Laurie Paulsen and Jeanne Wallis. Infant Class: In the kiddie pool, with parent. Getting comfortable in the water, blowing bubbles, wearing lifejackets, safety, holding positions, songs & activities appropriate for age level. Pre-­‐Level 1: In the kiddie pool, without parent. Water exploration in small group setting to prepare for basic water safety skills. Level 1: Basic swim skills & safety skills performed with assistance in the big pool. Levels 2 & 2a: Basic swim skills & safety skills done without assistance. Levels 3-­‐6: Swim skill refinement, advanced swim strokes and endurance. Class times are subject to adjustment, depending upon final enrollment. Registration closes at noon on Friday, June 3.
