Welcome to the Leaning Cedar Tree Cabin!
The Leaning Cedar Tree Cabin is a remote, rustic cabin bordered by the Boundary Waters Canoe Area
Wilderness, and surrounded by Boreal forest and the gently flowing North Kawishiwi River. Our cabin is
accessible by water across Farm Lake at entry point 31 in the BWCA. Its zen-like simplicity will captivate your
soul. Enjoy the wood fired sauna to cleanse body and spirit. The cabin is equipped with wood burning stove,
modern gas range, propane fridge and lights, down bedding and soft organic cotton sheets and towels, but is
still comfortably rustic without electricity or modern plumbing.
Reservations, Rates and Policies:
Our rates are based on a 4-adult occupancy; extra adults are $20/day (with a 7-person maximum). Children 12
and under are FREE!
Year-Round Rates: $200/day (3 day minimum); or $1300/week
Cleaning Fee: $75
Rental Includes: 1 Canoe* and kayak, bedding, towels, drinking water, firewood and use of sauna
* Extra canoes available for $20/day
Payment: Credit card information and a non-refundable 20% deposit is required at booking. Reservations
cancelled within 30 days of stay will be charged in full, unless we can rebook the cabin.

Leaning Cedar Cabin/BWCAW Code of Conduct:
Because our cabin borders the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, as part of our Conditional Use
Permit from the county, the following Code of Conduct applies to all cabin visitors:
• Respect the BWCAW border
• No jet skis
• Respect the surrounding neighbors and area
• No parties
• Sorry, no pets allowed!
