Ventaire manufactures both spring powered (automatic) and
motorized reels that have been engineered to provide
dependable, trouble-free performance for many years.
Standard models are designed to handle hose diameters of
3” to 8” and capacities up to 25’. Custom reels for larger
capacity, explosion proof or other requirements are also
available. All reels can be ceiling or wall mounted.
Overhead Telescoping
Systems
Ventaire offers overhead telescoping vehicle exhaust systems
that store the flexible hose when not in use. The system
consists of 3 different diameters of flexible hose that seal
together in the extended position to provide air flow for
exhaust gas removal. For storing, the smaller flexible hoses
slide into the larger hoses to move them up and out of the
workspace. The overhead telescoping system combines the
aesthetics of a disappearing systems with the economy of the
a simple nondisappearing system.

Overhead Systems
Our nondisappearing systems offer an economical yet
effective means of capturing vehicle exhaust fumes. This
system is designed for overhead use when a budget
friendly system is required. When not in use, the flexible
tubing is lifted out of the work space by a manual pull up
system. This ducted system utilizes a central exhaust fan.
The system also includes flexible tubing, a tailpipe
adapter, lifting saddle, and a manual pull up system. A
winch or an automatic cable reel can be added to the
system for ease of operation.
Ventaire offers a complete line of vehicle exhaust systems ideal for virtually any
application. These systems are time-tested to e a safe and effective way to handle
offensive, life-threatening fumes present in many work environments.
Wall Box Systems
Underfloor Systems
The Ventaire wall box systems provide great flexibility at
a very economical cost. These systems provide the ability
to use the same hose assembly at any of the receptacles
installed throughout the work area. The wall box features
a special quick disconnect for flexible tubing assembly
and a blast gate shutoff for when not in use. Single or
dual wall box systems are available in either galvanized or
stainless steel construction. Options include neoprene
tailpipe adapters and a wall hook for convenient tubing
storage.
Ventaire’s underfloor systems are economical, easy to use and do
not intrude on the work space. These systes utilize underground
ducts to store the hose when not in use to keep unneeded clutter
off the floor and out of sight. A telescoping transition consisting of
a steel pipe saddle and boot assembly is employed to bridge the
gap between the floor plate door assembly at the floor level and
the underground pipe. This system allows the tubing set to be
stored in the underground pipe until required. Many optional
accessories and construction materials are available to meet the
needs of almost any application.
Overhead Disappearing
Systems
Ventaire offers systems for underfloor PVC, transite, or vitrified
clay pipe applications. Each system consists of a 1/4” thick steel
door and frame with corrosion-resistant coating attached to a 20
gauge galvanized steel boot, a 20 gauge galvanized steel saddle
mount and a flexible tubing set. Tubing set consists of “No-Crush”
tubing, tailpipe adapter, hose guide, ram rod, and hose clamps.
Common options for the door and frame are either cast aluminum
or stainless steel construction. In addition common options for the
flexible tubing are galvanized or stainless steel construction or a
variety of cloth type hoses with exterior wear guards.

Designed to conceal the flexible tubing inside of
overhead rigid duct when not in use. Includes overhead
disappearing fixture with 2 rollers, flexible metal tubing,
tailpipe adapter, hose guide and a cable and pulley kit.
Systems are open and closed circuit, and either front or
rear actuated. Options: throat seal, self-closing door,
closed circuit pulley, winch and roller tray.
Welding Fume
Exhaust Systems
Ventaire provides a number of systems designed for fume removal in
applications where fumes are generated such as in welding. These
systems include compact, movable table hoods, slotted fume hoods,
canopy hoods, custom hoods and fume collectors. Ventaire also
provides five unique articulated fume extraction arms, each having its
own distinctive charactaristics. Ventaire arms provide the ability to
capture the fumes at the point of generation anywhere within the
working radius of the arm. Our arms are constructed of lightweight
materials to allow easy positioning of the arms at the fume source.
Our standard fume arms are available from 3-inch diameter to 8-inch
diameter with working radiuses up to 20 feet. Custom sizes are also
available.
Fume Extraction Arms
Model SIFA
This Self-Supporting arm
features cast aluminum
joints with friction disks
that are fully adjustable to the workers desired
tension. Smooth-bore pipe and external supports
eliminate the obstructions in the airflow which
traditional arms have, producing outstanding
suction power. This arm can be either
ceiling or wall mounted. They are available
in a wide range of diameters from 3
inches to 8 inches and lengths up to 14
feet.
Model IAFE
Completely
concealed
internal
linkage is used to support this arm’s
flexible tubing and hood. Like the
FAFE, this arm can either be ceiling
or wall mounted and will rotate a full
360 degrees. This arm is available in
lengths from 5 to 15 feet and
diameters of 6 or 8 inches.
Model FAFE
This style of arm incorporates an external linkage to
support the flexible tubing
and hood. It can either be
ceiling or wall mounted.
The swivel assembly is constructed of special plastic
bearing material to swivel
360 degrees. This arm can
be made from 5 to 15 feet
in length and either 6 or 8
inch in diameter.
Model WAFE
This style of incorporates an external linkage
to support the flexible tubing and hood. The
wall mount and integral swivel assembly is
constructed of steel and allows the 180
degree rotation. The hood swivel is constructed a ball and socket joint allowing
complete positioning control. This arm can be
made from 5 to 15 feet in length and either 6
or 8 inch diameters.
Model SIFA
A rigid pipe section is used to extend the
reach of the arm up to 15 or 20 feet. A
standard FAFE arm (on the EAFE model)
or an IAFE (on the IEAFE) arm is then
mounted on the extension pipe. When
ceiling mounted as pictured above, the
system swivels a full 360 degrees for
maximum versatility.

Fume Collectors
For welding shops that condition their shop air, it is often necessary to filter the process fumes generated and
return the air to the workspace. The most efficient way of filtering these fumes is to have a local ventilation
system and incorporate a fume collector. A fume collector consists of a large rectangular unit with a metal
prefilter and a cartridge filter with a HEPA filter and carbon filter as options. The PORT and BHOR models also
contain an integral exhaust blower.
There are three basic fume collectors: portable (PORT), duct mounted with blower (BHOR), and duct mounted
without blower (NHOR). Portable units have a 7’ or 10’ arm mounted on the top and casters mounted on the
bottom for positioning and mobility. Duct mounted units, both with and without fans, mount to the ceiling or
wall of a building. The inlets are connected using a rigid duct which transports the fumes from the fume or fume
hood to the filter.
Model BHOR/NHOR
A horizontal, rectangular, ceiling hung
fume collector that is available for 700
CFM to 4000 CFM applications. Both
models contain an aluminum prefilter
and a 90% efficiency pleated cartridge
filter. A 99.97% efficient HEPA filter
for cleaner air and a pleated carbon
filter for odor control are also
available upon request. The BHOR
model also includes an integral blower
to meet air flow requirements for the
application. The NHOR model doesn’t
include a blower to allow multiple
filters to be controlled by one remote
blower.
Model PORT100
A vertical, self contained, blue powder
coated fume collector that is available for
applications requiring 700 CFM. The
collector is mounted on 4 heavy duty
casters for ease of relocation. The
collector includes 10’ self supporting fume
arm without interior obstructions to
minimize the pressure loss. The collector
contains a metal prefilter, a 99% efficient
round cartridge filter and an odor
controlling carbon filter. In addition, the
collector has as standard a manual pulse
jet cleaning system that extends the
cartridge life to 5 years, saving cartridge
replacement costs and maintenance costs,
also minimizing down time.
Models PORT700 to 2000
A vertical, self contained, blue
powder coated fume collector that is
available for applications requiring
from 700 to 2000 CFM. The collector
is mounted on 4 heavy duty casters
for ease of relocation. The collector
includes either a 7’ or a 10’ internally
supported fume arm to capture the
fumes. The collector contains a metal
prefilter and a 90% efficient cartridge
filter. A 99.97% HEPA filter and an
odor controlling carbon filter are
available as options.
Dust Collection
Systems
Cyclone Dust Collectors
Ventaire supplies systems to capture and filter dust from the work place. These
cyclonic systems use centrifugal action to separate large particles from contaminated
air where they can be deposited into a user supplied 55 gallon drum, allowing fine
dust to be filtered out by standard cotton after-filters. Continuously welded seams,
totally enclosed fan motor and weatherproof finish allow outside storage. Many
different storage capacities and fan sizes are available. Options include bin collection,
hopper collection, dual 55 gallon drum collection, and various filter configurations.
Standard sizes range from 2 HP @ 600 CFM to 25 HP @ 9600 CFM.

Dust Collector Accessories
A variety of accessories are available. A floor sweep is available with
either a foot operator to hold the door open for use or a spring assist
operator that holds the door open when you need it open and closed
when you need it closed. A blast gate can also be supplied in lieu of a
door to control the floor sweep air flow.
Other options include custom hoods that pick up fine dust and
particles from band saws, table saws, planers, grinders or other such
dust generators.
Fans and Accessories
A wide variety of AMCA labeled fans for gas and
fume removal systems are available from Ventaire.
Types include forward curved, backward inclined and
radial wheels for both belt and direct drive
applications in all pressure ranges. Ventaire offers a
wide selection of air distribution system components
to meet special ventilation requirements.

Systems
Ventaire offers a full line of automatic release emergency vehicle
exhaust systems. Whether for ambulances or fire trucks,
economical upscale equipment, Ventaire has a solution for your
vehicle emission needs. We offer competitive mechanical,
magnetic, electromagnetic and pneumatic automatic release
systems. These systems are available from simple systems with no
rails to those with either non-exhausting or exhausting rails.

Vehicle Exhaust
Accessories
Ventaire offers a wide variety of vehicle exhaust accessories
to better meet the needs of each application. Tailpipe
adapters are available in galvanized steel, stainless steel and
high temperature neoprene as well as in conical, cylindrical
and ovate shapes. These adapters are furnished with spring
clips bumper hooks with chain, gripping pliers, magnets, air
bladders, electromagnets or other attachment types. Some
of these accessories include damper doors for the adapter,
blast gates, quadrant dampers, wye fittings, quick
disconnects, lifting saddles, elbows, ball joints, flange
connections and safety cleats.
Flexible Tubing
Ventaire has a full line of flexible tubing for your specific
application. We offer hoses that are designed for a wide
range of ventilation systems that may require a temperature
rating above 2000°F, be flame retardant or resistant to
abrasive conditions.
