National Stroke Week – Speed Saves
National Stroke Week is the Stroke Foundation’s annual awareness campaign taking place from
September 12 - 18. Sadly 1 in every 6 Australian's will have a stroke. That why it's important we all make
time for a health check this September.
What is FAST?
The F.A.S.T. test is the easiest way to recognise the signs of stroke.
F – Face – Has their mouth drooped?
A – Arms – Can they lift both arms?
S – Speech – Is their speech slurred?
T – Time – Time is critical. Call 000 NOW.
We recommend the F.A.S.T. test as an easy way to remember the most common signs of stroke.
