Kai Tak Water Sports Demonstration Trial Day
Thank you for all you did to help make the captioned event fantastic in such a beautiful and significant
venue at the Kai Tak Kwun Tong Typhoon Shelter yesterday. It was a watermark moment, and one
that would not have happened without your support along the way.
Although a member only event with no participation from the public, the demonstration attracted a
total of 180 paddlers, 12 for water safety and 20 plus volunteers to attend and participate in canoeing,
dragon boating and rowing. All participants had a wonderful time and the day was a great success.
There is no way the event would have gone as smoothly as it did without your flexibility, support and
attentiveness.
The demonstration has certainly shown the suitability of the Kwun Tong Typhoon Shelter and Kai Tak
Approach Channel for these water sports and we could not have been more pleased with the outcome
of this demonstration day. Thank you again for your strong support and huge efforts to make the
event possible.
