Which model is right for me?
The 6.25 Tow-Behind
Trimmer/Mower is the perfect
time- and back-saving solution
for anyone who mows with a
riding mower, then spends just
as long (or longer!) going around
their property a second time on
foot to do the trimming. With
the 6.25 Tow-Behind model, you
get the job done the first time
around. Save time, and save your
back! It’s also great for mowing
tall grass and weeds anywhere
you can safely take your riding
mower. Attaches with a simple
pin hitch, and at just 70 lbs., it’s
easy to roll away for storage.
The 7.25 All-Terrain
Trimmer/Mower works with
virtually any vehicle with a
pin hitch (ATVs, UTVs, Larger
Riding Mowers, Tractors) so you
can trim and mow in all your
“off-lawn” areas. It reaches up
to four feet outside your tow
vehicle’s wheelbase, making it
perfect for trimming and mowing along fence lines, underneath shrubs, along driveway
shoulders or in ditches. At 262
lbs., the All-Terrain Trimmer
Mower has the heft to absorb
the punishment dished out by
the most rugged terrain.
The 3-Point Hitch
Trimmer/Mower lets you get
more out of your tractor. With
this heavy duty attachment you
can use your tractor’s hydraulic
lift to give you optimal control
of cutting head angle and
height. Great for fence lines,
roadsides, ditches, pond-banks
and other tractor-accessible
areas of your property. Trim
weeds and high grass within a
whisker of fence posts, walls,
and other obstacles as you
simply operate your tractor.

Q Can I use the 6.25 Tow-Behind model in
rough areas?
A The 6.25 Tow-Behind model is designed
primarily for lawns and other surfaces
where you can safely operate your riding
mower. We made it light (70 lbs.) to be
lawn-friendly. Other even surfaces, like
driveways, are OK (for mowing shoulders
or trimming up against buildings), but
it is not intended for rough terrain, and
should only be used at slower speeds (for
both cutting and traveling).
Q Can I use the 7.25 All-Terrain model on
my lawn?
A It depends on how groomed you like
your lawn to be and/or what tow vehicle
Frequently Asked Questions
you will use. Because it is built for rough
areas, the All-Terrain model is hefty (262
lbs.) and could damage some lawns in
wet conditions. Also, ATVs and some
other vehicles have aggressive tire treads
and they could leave their mark as well.
Q I need an off-lawn product, but I own a
tractor and other tow vehicles as well. Am
I better off with the 3-Point Hitch model
or the 7.25 All-Terrain model?
A The primary advantages of the 3-Point
Hitch model are: 1) it uses your tractor’s
power supply, so it doesn’t come with an
engine (and engine maintenance), 2) it
is less expensive...again, because it has
no engine, and 3) the hydraulic lift of
your tractor gives you greater control of
cutting head height and positioning.
The advantages offered by the 7.25 AllTerrain model are: 1) it is more versatile
because you can pull it with multiple tow
vehicles including your tractor, 2) it has
greater offset reach (see chart above), 3)
depending on your property, you may be able
to use the All-Terrain Trimmer in areas you
can’t get to with your tractor, and 4) because
it uses a simple pin hitch, attaching and
detaching the unit is much quicker than with
the 3-point hitch model.
