Interested and wants to learn. The connotation is Sentence that shows meaning The small boy at the museum was very inquisitive about the dinosaurs. Sentence that shows meaning Mental picture I imagine me taking a quiz and knowing the answers because I am so inquisitive. Mental picture Context: the situation the word is used in, specifically the other words or sentences around it. Denotation: dictionary definition of the word (include the part of speech). Connotation: the feelings associated with the word (include positive, negative, or both depending on the context).
